This Privacy Policy explains how Netsware Cloud Solutions LLP ("Netsware", "we", "us", or "our"), a limited liability partnership registered in India, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Netsware platform, websites, APIs, and dashboards (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the Service:
- Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Profile and billing details: billing email, company name, address, and tax or VAT number, if you provide them.
- Authentication data: for social sign-in, a provider-verified email address from Google or GitHub; if you enable two-factor authentication, an encrypted secret and hashed recovery codes.
- Usage and technical data: API request logs (endpoint, timestamp, latency), your IP address, and the schedules, jobs, and webhooks you create.
- Cookies and local storage: a session token and preferences (such as theme) stored in your browser. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on sign-up and sign-in to tell humans from bots.
We do not intentionally collect payment card numbers. Payments, when enabled, are handled by our payment provider, which processes card details on its own systems.
How we use information
We use your information to provide, operate, and secure the Service; to authenticate you; to process billing; to send transactional and security emails; to prevent abuse and fraud; to comply with legal obligations; and to improve the Service.
Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Service); your consent (where required); and compliance with legal obligations.
How we share information (sub-processors)
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service:
- ZeptoMail: transactional and security email delivery.
- Cloudflare: bot protection (Turnstile).
- Google and GitHub: optional social sign-in that you initiate.
- Hetzner: cloud hosting and infrastructure.
- Our payment provider: subscription billing, when enabled.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Netsware, our users, or the public.
Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, subject to obligations that require us to retain certain records.
Security
We protect your data with measures including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive secrets, passwords hashed with bcrypt, scoped API keys with optional IP allowlists and expiry, optional two-factor authentication, and protections against unsafe outbound requests. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to incidents.
International transfers
Our infrastructure and sub-processors may be located outside your country of residence, including in the European Union. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this Policy and applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights, or ask any privacy question, by contacting support@netsware.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, for example by email or an in-product notice, and update the "Last updated" date above.
